Stock Your Medications in Your Survival Kit

Your survival
kit should contain enough of the medications that you are currently taking
to last for weeks. Your survival kit should include additional medicines. Aspirin
works for most fevers, and minor aches and pains, ibuprofen is for inflammation
like swollen joints. Additional over the counter medications you should have
on hand are Kaopectate for diarrhea, and Pepto Bismol for stomach maladies.
Consider also an unbreakable thermometer for your kit. Be sure to have extra
vitamins because stress and a limited diet can wear you down quickly. Look for
energy boosting and fatigue fighting natural supplements like B12, or ginseng.
Temporary energy boosters like drinks and bars can be part of your kit but remember
they are full of sugar and caffeine so use them cautiously. Ipecac syrup is
a good thing to have on had if you have to induce vomiting in someone who has
eaten tainted foods. As far as regular medications are concerned, ask your doctor
for an extra month’s worth of your prescription.

Natural Antibiotics

It is highly unlikely that you will be able to get antibiotics in advance of
any disaster striking. Don’t skimp on current prescriptions by hoarding a few
pills. It is dangerous. Any prescription is to be used fully to combat the infection
it was designed to kill.

Instead, check out natural antibiotics. A good read with lots of information
about the natural healing powers of herbal remedies is "Herbal
Remedies Secrets". It not only explains the herbs to used to treat
specific conditions, but also goes into growing and preparing them yourself.

Disasters are stressful and confusing times, but don’t forget to maintain your
health. Your survival counts on it. Have a survival kit that includes the medications
you take and the natural antibiotic cures you might need. Start now to educate
yourself in first aid and natural cures. Don’t rely on someone else to do it
for you.

A survival
also should contain enough medications to keep you healthy. Additional medications

It is doubtful that you will be able to get any type of pharmaceutical antibiotics
prior to a disaster. If you think that you can just save a few pills from current
prescriptions don’t do it. This is hazardous to your current health. Today’s

A better choice would be to educate yourself on natural herbal remedies and

In conclusion, when disaster strikes, don’t neglect your health, it could mean
the difference between life or death. Without a survival

Disaster
survival depends on being able to maintain your health, so have enough of
the medicines that you or anyone in your family takes regularly. Your survival
kit should include additional medicines. Aspirin is a universal remedy for headaches,
fevers, and other things. But you will also need an ibuprofen product to reduce
swelling and inflammation. Diarrhea can be treated with Kaopectate. Stomach
problems with Mylanta or Pepto Bismol. An additional item to have on hand is
an unbreakable thermometer. Have vitamin supplements available for the entire
family. Look for energy boosting and fatigue fighting natural supplements like
B12, or ginseng. Sugar and caffeine abound in energy bars and drinks. use them
cautiously. If someone eats something tainted you will want to induce vomiting
Ipecac syrup will do the trick. An additional months supply of medications you
take regularly would also be helpful to have. Ask your doctor.

Natural Antibiotics

It is doubtful that you will be able to get any type of pharmaceutical antibiotics
prior to a disaster. If you think that you can just save a few pills from current
prescriptions don’t do it. This is a foolish way of amassing antibiotics and
could be dangerous to your health.

herbs are the primary source of health care for 75% of the world’s population!
Start by reading "Herbal
Remedies Secrets", and begin putting together some herbs to have on
hand for your survival kit. It not only explains the herbs to used to treat
specific conditions, but also goes into growing and preparing them yourself.

To sum up, don’t ignore your health. Staying healthy can make all the difference
in whether you survive or not. Have a survival
kit that includes the medications you take and the natural antibiotic cures
you might need. Knowledge is power, so learn first aid, learn natural treatments

Disaster Survival

Diaster
survival kits are a necessity in today’s world. Disasters do not follow
a schedule. They can happen anytime and in any part of the world. They can be
natural like hurricanes, tornadoes snow and ice, or even earthquakes. They could
come in the form of a terrorist attack. First what happens is the fundamental
services that we rely on come to a screeching halt. The power lines that bring
electricity to are homes are often the first to go down. Natural gas pipes may
break and be shut off by the utilities to prevent fires. Phone lines follow
electric lines and fall down, break, or even if they are up they often become
overloaded. The water supply will stop either because of broken pipe or because
they become filled with contaminated water. Danger lurks on the roads and highways.
Collisions between vehicles will block traffic for miles. Fragments of construction
debris or fallen telephone poles, tree branches or whole trees may block even
the large highways. Vehicles in garages with automatic doors will be trapped
inside. Suppose you can get your car out, what then will you be facing? Every
crossroad becomes a dangerous intersection. Suppose you find a store that is
open. They will accept only exact cash amounts for whatever they have available
if anything. You have to ask yourself should you risk driving anyway?

Once you run out of gas you will not be able to get more because the pumps
work on electricity. Unless you have some other source of heat the temperature
in your house drops lower and lower without the electricity to run a boiler
or furnace. Having your own well does not mean that you will be able to get
water because the well pump runs on electricity also. Sanitary conditions deteriorate
rapidly because even though you might be able to use the toilet – only once
– but with broken water pipes or without electricity to start a pump toilets
would not refill themselves. The night comes on in darkness without the electric
available to turn on the lights. Fear grips your children.

Daily Disasters Are Happening Around The World

Just sit down and think about what has been happening in recent years. The
terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 killed almost
3,000 people. Headlines shouting thousands killed as tidal waves strike. Weathermen
predict extensive damage from category 5 hurricanes. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions,
tornados, ice storms, blizzards, nuclear, biological, chemical attacks, pandemics
are all possible threats.

What about the people who survived?

Manhattan was shut down except for emergency vehicles, no trucks bringing in
food. New Orleans was struck by a category 5 hurricane that flooded the city
stranding thousands of people and leaving them without drinkable water or food
for that matter for days. Tidal waves have buried entire towns under thousands
of tons of water washing them out to sea and taking with them roads which made
rescue efforts impossible for days on end. Tsunamis have washed entire villages
out to sea and along with them roads that make rescue efforts impossible for
days or even weeks. People have been left helpless by tornadoes that have wiped
out entire towns.

Diaster
Survival Preparedness

These types of diaster are difficult to deal with but if you have a plan and
basic survival supplies you can get thorough them with the least amount of stress
as possible. Disasters hit almost daily in some part of the world, simply turn
on the nightly news if you don’t believe it. Are you ready if a diaster struck
your town tomorrow or next week? Thinking about planning for a diaster after
the fact is like closing the barn door after the horse has escaped. Begin today
to find out what actions you need to take now before it becomes too late. Emergency
preparedness today will make the difference in your ability to survive a . Create
